Why Donation Based Photography?
The answer is simple, I want my photographic abilities to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their fiscal and economic situation. I’m a believer in donation-based services because they allow anyone the option to pay what they can, and what they believe is a fair price. I believe that when people are given the freedom to pay what they can or what they believe the object or service merits, then they leave a happier and more satisfied client. Getting “rich” does not matter to me, being happy is more important and shooting photography makes me happy. Taking photos of events is payment enough for me.
I would also like to point out that in no way is this a business, this is a hobby and allows for me to be engaged with others in an attempt at doing what I like to do most, photography. But it does cost to do photography. I also reserve the right to refuse anyone at any time.
Donations are not always monetary either, they can be in the form of a service or object. I welcome the donation of a trade or service or if you feel like you would like to donate to my cause I invite that as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this, god bless.
